Lifts can be confusing, especially if you don't already have some fundamental knowledge of suspension stuff.
Really though, the components are simple:
Front: coil and strut ("coilover" - as in, the strut is in the center of the coil so the coil is over the strut)
Rear: Coil and shock (separate from one another)
So you've really only got 8 parts: 2 struts and 2 coils in the front, and 2 shocks and 2 coils in the rear.
Getting longer or heavier spring coils, basically, is what gives you the lift. Spacers simulate longer coils by adding height to the coil.
In the front, you can use the factory coils and add a spacer, or just compress them more to force the front up higher with the ever-popular Bilstein 5100s. You can also get longer / heavier coils.
In the rear you have to install a longer / heavier coil OR insert a spacer to basically make the coil act like it is longer. A 5100 rear shock will NOT provide lift, which confuses some people because the 5100 front strut can provide lift.
Beyond that bit of knowledge, there is a ton of research that you will need to do, as lifts can vary a great deal in quality, performance, and price. You will also start getting people telling you to replace UCAs, LCAs, and other suspension / steering components, which may or may not be needed for your particular application.
Someone suggested Wheeler's T1 / T13 coils and Bilstein 5100 shocks / struts, this is a great suggestion and comes in at a very nice price point (around $800), and gives you 2.5" lift up front and about 1.5" rear to level it out and allow 33" tires to clear. That is probably about the best "cheap" true suspension lift you can get. If you want to go that route call Steven up there and discuss with him.
