The tacoma is expensive but not really overpriced given its a 4wd with rear locker figured someone might be interested.

just for reference all trd tacos came with a rear locker, and because they are the only good small pickup worth having they fetch nearly double what a 4runner does.

What's funny is about 8 years ago I was really considering a similar Tacoma of the same year for that same price back then.

That place usually has a good number of 4Runners (mainly 3rd gens). I see them pop up on Craigslist a lot.

That is my favorite generation of Tacoma, but the prices for them are ridiculous. The rear half of their frames are weak and they aren't made in Japan. The overseas Hilux of the same vintage could be had in double cab form with the 5VZ and a fully boxed frame.
