I love my 4Runner!

I sold my BMW M5 E60 and bought a 4Runner thinking I have to move soon and I need to be able to tow a trailer. I live in SW Washington and we actually got a significant amount of snow and ice. I just drove 20 miles for a fresh donut. Along the way I pulled someone out of a snowbank. They were in a Durango and managed to slide backwards down a hill by my house right into a three foot deep pile of snow left by a plow. I owned a Subaru Outback many years ago. But my Toyota is leaps and bounds better than that wagon. I love this truck.
I have to take two of my neighbors to the grocery store now. More than happy to be able to help.

Now you’re just looking for excuses to drive her in the snow! Lol, enjoy, these vehicles are beastly.

Man you went from a super unreliable and expensive platform (although it’s a V10 so like who cares?) to one that’s bulletproof and fairly easy to work on. Have fun!

These trucks are something else! I have an 08 and it still drives like a dream. Handles bad weather really good too. Haven't had a single issue with snow and haven't gotten stuck In the 4 years that I've owned it. Oh, and it does some pretty good donuts in the snow too :heh:

I replaced the BMW because it leaked more oil than the Exxon Valdez. Fun car but the v10 that powered it has a habit of eating bearings. I got the 4Runner because I have always had very good luck with Toyota.

These are great trucks. Back in 2012 I bought my daughter a ‘99 SR5 4runner and I loved that truck, hated to see it go to college. Then she got married and her bo trashed the inside. You know the phrase, were you raised in a barn?...well he was apparently. The last time I saw it, the rust on the frame and brakes was terrible, inside made me puke. I wouldnt sit in that truck now to save my life.

Fast forward, I bought a 07 sport last summer and I love it. 223,000 miles and still drives smooth.
