I need body and sway bar bushings.

Dealership or trdpart4u. I was going to order from Energy Suspension, but recent knowledge about polyurethane has me going back to rubber.

Im interested to know as well. I know that with poly you will feel more bumps, jolts, etc. but it lasts longer. I noticed the difference from rubber to poly on my steering rack bushings.

Actually, they don't last longer. They will also deform quite rapidly. I do some road racing and we found that the poly u bushings we've used have literally crumbled within 2 years (you could take your finger and tear off a chunk). After a year, the bushings were ovalized. With rubber bushings (aftermarket and OEM), we found that they last longer. The Poly U was stiffer, but that went away quick. As always, YMMV.

The rubber lasts pretty damn good as seen in my steering rack 8 years of abuse is good to ask of a rubber product left open to the elements. I know a couple guys that road race and they are split between rubber and poly.

I don't have any poly, but I have heard they SQUEEEEAK a lot too. Energy Suspension actually sells some sway bar bushings with zerks so you can keep greasing them to knock down the noise. Read many threads here about people *****ing about squeaky body mount bushings on their lifts.

Hmm yeah ive read that i haven't experienced any squeaking myself, but i do know if they dont have adequate pressure on them it takes little movement for them to squeak. This will be an experiment to see how long my poly steering rack bushings hold up. So far after a year they look good, under normal and adverse conditions.
