I'm a little confused as to why we've gone strait to an engine swap without even a bit more troubleshooting into whats wrong in the first place?

:iagree: how do you jump into thinking its an engine without getting proper testing done to the vehicle? Engine replacement should be your WORSE CASE SCENARIO!! Take it to a mechanic who will take their time and try to figure out the issue instead of being a "part replacer". We all can tell you to swap the engine here that does not require a brain, but what does require a brain is to actually have it checked out and pinpointed. When all hope is lost then you can look for an engine.

I think he had another thread where it turned out he destroyed a piston and bent some valves.

Sorry i havent posted in a while

So everywhere I took it to and everyone I talked to said it was a crank bearing. I have an engine sitting in my driveway right now I'm doing the engine swap this weekend. My uncle has done multiple engine swaps before. I'd be happy to answer any questions you guys have. I'm making a new thread on any and all advice on doing an engine swap so i can crap as much knowledge as possible before friday. I bought another V6 btw morphyne. I was under the impression that doing the v8 swap would take a lot more time and effort.
