I think my suspension needs replaced

As all shocks and struts tend to need replaced after time, usually by mileage per factory believes. And are toys are known to have coils the tend to lose there pep and sag. It probably wouldn't hurt to replace since you probably can feel the difference from when you got it.
As ebg18t stated, the sticky has a lot of info on other options besides factory equipment replacement. Might even last longer depending on what combination you decide on.

No limited and I believe I have the base suspension and not the RAS or ERAS.

I have some brand-new monroe reflex rear shocks which will give you just better than OEM performance. I give em to ya for $80 for the pair. I'm losing money on them, I just got some Bilsteins as a gift before I could install them. PM me!
Found out it is the Xreas suspension, seems to feel a lot different to me but my mechanic (not a dealer) says there is no way for him to test the suspension. You fellas Know of any way to determine weather it is in need of replacement or not. My mechanic is telling me he thinks it could be the tires, I am running Yokohama geolanders which I have been told are a high quality tire for that vehicle. Don't want to rip everything out and start all over if that's not my issue being that I just did the timing belt, radiator and a full brake job. I feel like the vehicle sways more than it did and takes the potholes and such a lot rougher with a more spongy feeling in the steering. Thanks so much for your help!!!!

Could be a suspension issue, sounds correct. A lot of people on here tear out their XREAS systems because they eventually leak, etc. If you want to do pretty much any lift except for spacers, you need to take it out. Luckily, my 2003 SR5 came without the XREAS, and I just have the regular shocks, which I swapped out for Bilsteins. I love them, a firm ride and great offroad too. The XREAS system just gets all worn out after time, as most parts do. I'd personally swap for either Bilsteins or OME (Old Man Emus). You'll love the ride and their performance on and off road. I do have some Monroes which are a great replacement with similar characteristics to the stock parts. I have rears if interested.
