I was @ the Azusa OHV this past weekend

and I would say it's not worth the trip these days.

It's great how it has rained so much recently, but it also has reduced the Azusa OHV area by more than half (as much as 2/3) from just a year ago.

I was there on Sunday I took my young kids and wife just to go mess around. Yeah it's tiny compared to other years

Four wheel drive required to enter.

General Information:

Street Legal Vehicles are required to have 4 wheel drive to enter the OHV area, They are only allowed certain number of vehicles in the OHV area, so get there early if you want to get in on busy weekends

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the area, and all vehicles must meet local, State and Federal laws. Registration and spark arrestors are required, and all ATV riders must wear a helmet.

San Gabriel Canyon OHV area is only open on weekends and holidays. All visitors are required to be out of the area by sunset. Hours may vary due to changing weather conditions. This area may be closed at any time due to high river flow.

Hours year round 8:00 - 4:30pm Saturday and Sunday

Fees:

Fees are charged daily including holidays.

Primary vehicle - $8.00.

Secondary vehicle (such as dirt bikes or ATV's hauled on a trailer) - $5.00
