IAT Sensor???

Where can I find the IAT sensor on my 1996 4runner 4 cyl. 2.7L thanks!!!

Dont go to those morons. Your IAT sensor sits in the side of your airbox. You can pull it straight out and unplug it

OHH WHOOPS! i read that question wrong.. i thought you were wondering WHERE to like buy one.. my bad, Yeah its on the side of your airbox.

hey thanks for the quick replies... but you guys would'nt have a picture of the IAT Sensor ??? ... and did you guys ever heard about the by-pass wire that you connect to it to save some gas millage? It is supposely be connected on the IAT sensor

Yeah i've heard about that wire.. and no i dont have any pictures


we were going to put that wire on my friend 2003 Lancer ES but we kinda ended up messing up the IAT sensor by snapping it haha.. Umm I dont really know if i trust the bypass wires much, it might be tricking the sensor but it also may be sending back Emission status for your car.


Do research on it before you decide to put it in.
