Icon Lift/Bumper

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on the icon stage 1 setup. I just want to make sure it will support the weight of Demello bumper with a winch. I want the full 3 out of the suspension. Any input would be appreciated.

Yup will support it without a problem. I have the ICON suspension as well and I love it. Will be getting an ARB bumper soon.

If you are planning on an aftermarket rear bumper in the future make sure you get the heavier rear coils. If not than ICON rear coils will be fine.

I have ICON too....check out mine for further info

Thanks for the help, love your truck. With the added weight how does the truck "handle"...Did the ICON coilovers give you a full 3 inch lift in the front with the bumper?

I have driven a 3rd gen that had ToyTec ultimate on it and i hated how much body roll it has, trying to avoid that if possible with my truck.

well, I went from a T4R sport XREAS suspension (very little roll) yes it rolls, no its not like a boat. Its nice and firm, works well over almost all terrain. 3in lift? I think i got almost 3 but not stock, I had to crank the coils up a few more to level out.

Well i went ahead and ordered Icon Coil-overs and rear VS 2.0 shocks. I already have Med Weight springs in the rear. I ordered the coil-over with 700lb spring and custom valving to compensate for the bumper. Ill post up some picks when i get it installed. Probably 2/3 weekends from now.
