quick update

i'm done with the fronts. i'm 80% done with the rear. i'll finish up the rear and install my track bar (lower rear trailing arms) and get an alignment.

can anybody take a look at my rear shocks? it has two spacers which are the same length unlike the front ones where one of the spacer is longer than the other. and i'm using the factory bolt. it looks kinda funky to me, did i do this right? sorry for the bad pic i just finished up and it's dark.

i just don't like the way that bolt holds everything down. icon should have had something more "clean looking"

Nice work. Thanks for posting the pic's. Do you have any plans to replace the rear track, panhard bar? Do you have KDSS? Maybe I need to go back and look for that? :biggrin2:

yes i'm doing the trailing arms this morning, still need to check everything and retorque and get an alignment. my husky torque wrench just decided to crap out on me. i'm glad i don't have kdss on my rid. :hat:

i think a set of shin guards will go a long way to keeping those rear shock shafts from getting sandblasted and pitted to holy hell.

Added bonus if they act as a skid for the lower shock mounts. I scraped up one of mine and now I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the lower bolt out! We'll see, probably nothing a BFH couldn't fix.

Awesome suspension setup btw, wish I had the cash for that ICON kit....

Hi Rotorgeek - A lift up to 3" will have no negative side effects on the MTS system. There are several TE 4runner owners who have lifted their rides. Let us know if we can be of any help!

haven't driven it yet still smoothing out some kinks. i'll let you know if there is any issues.
