anybody run these wheels and tires? NittoTrail Grappler M/T, NV matte black machined face.
wheels and tires would be my next to do list. opinions please.

Did you get that heim joint to straighten out?

Trail Grappler is an aggressive trail tire, good for that purpose. Its road performance in wet conditions is marginal. If youre looking for a tire to perform well in a variety of conditions, I would look elsewhere. They are a damn nice looking tire though.

the pinch bolts were not torqued right from icon. i loosen them bolt and straighten the heim and torqued the two bolts to 45ft lbs and it's been straight ever since. you just have to turn each bolt one crank at a time and alternate between the two pinch bolts or else the socket won't fit in there. and yes i did put some antisieze in there, it goes in so much smoother.

as far as tires goes most of the 285's are E rated which i don't like. had the good year duratrac on my tacoma rated E and it rode like a brick. there are quite a few D rated tires in 285's that's probably what i'll be looking at.

ko2's can't get them in a c or d rated tire in 285's that was my first choice for tires as the price was right. i'll do d rated but not e.
