What is this
I believe (if your runner is an SE) that it is the button that will allow for the rear suspension to lift according to the weight. Self leveling rear or something like it, the Limiteds have this as an Option I believe or it might be standard on them. That is my guess.
Why are you taking the center console out for?
Installing some klind of cool toy ?

My fault for not being more specific.
This is the 03 LTD v6...so no rear sus buttons. I have no ashtray, just the cubby with single 12Vplug (dual mod will come soon)...the 120V is in the glove box.
I was installing the icelink, I have a thread in audio about that.
I checked out the dual 12v thread, not 100% sure that is it.
Interesting OT: friend of a friend owns a Boxster. One day after a minor glitch prevented him from unlocking his car, he was unhappy that Porche wanted $$$ to come and fix it. He hit the net. He found out that some "base" level boxters actually have features of the upmarket ones, just disconnected! In his case, he had heated seats that he activated just by adding a dashboard switch!
UPDATE: confirmed, it s/b for the ashtray kit. Thanks to all!
