I have to say it is such a B (maybe even a C) movie, but I can't help to think we are actually headed in that direction. Has anyone else seen this movie? Sorry, that last thread that was just closed made me think of it.

Yes, we are already headed that way. Those with "lesser intelligence" among us are breeding faster than we are. Both spoken and written English have been degraded beyond our wildest dreams. Common sense is very uncommon - along with common courtesy and common decency.

Yes. I work in healthcare and I can tell you the people least-suited to raise successful children on the ones reproducing the most. The nurses in our OB unit frequently say it's depressing to send newborns home with their loser parents.

This is what happens when you pay people to have children.

I'm nearing 30, so I'm neither young nor old, but I think we've been heading that way for longer than I've been around. It's all one big cycle.

One day our great, great, great, great grandchildren will all be idiots. They'll die out, then a new generation of humans will come out to stoneage'esque times and slowly things will evolve from that to another generation of idiots. And so it will be until the sun dies out and takes Earth with it.
