idling high?

The idle has been good around 1000 and now all of a sudden sometimes it sticks at around 14-1500 doesnt matter if the clutch is in or out. It doesnt do it all the time but seems to be getting worse. Is the clutch going out?? any other ideas?

your ideling should be around 750rpm warm, 1250pm cold. My suggestion would be get some throttle body cleaner ($2-3), clean your air intake ducts, your throttle body, in and out. A minor tune up would help.

I just bought it 2 months ago and had a complete tune up done then and had it pass the very rigorous vehicle inspection where I live outside the US. It was running fine and then just started doing it all by itself, not always but seems to be getting gradually worse.
