If I am replacing wheel bearings do I need the whole assembly or just the bearing?

Looks like both my wheel bearings are having issues. one clicks and ticks and the other grumbles. I want to save $ what parts do I need?

Seems to be, First they thought it was the E brake, They took the ebrake off, just the wheel hub left and the noise still remained. The only thing left is the wheel bearing.

Do the whole hub. $170 each from marion b2b (he's on here) or nj363 I think. They both make quality stuff. I use marion b2b. The hub assembly is a bolt on affair.

There's nothing bolt on about the rear bearings. It's a ***** of a job and requires some special gear. From his previous post it sounds like he's talking about the rear bearings but he never actually says either way.

I think you're talking about the fronts and the OP is talking about the rears.
