2007 4runner Drive Belt Tensioner Pulley Replacement

Have a 2007, 4runner, two wheel drive, V6 4.0 liter (1-GRFE).

Need to replace the pulley on the serpentine belt tensioner (bearings are going bad). I can only find the full assembly (part number 16620-31013 OR previous part number 16620-31012)

Does anybody have a OEM Toyota part number for just the replacement pulley?

I'm not sure Toyota offers it, I looked/searched and couldn't find one, I couldn't find an OEM replacement for my 2004 V8 either, but I got one from NAPA, it's been on there for 6 years with no issues.

For my year model and engine there are 2 different sizes, so just in case you may want to get a measurement of yours to compare to what you find.

EDIT: I just looked on NAPA website and didn't see just the pulley/bearing assembly....BUT the weird part is they are asking $50 more for the whole tensioner assembly than what you can get a Toyota assembly for, if I were you I would just get the OEWM assembly, unless you get lucky a find an aftermarket pulley somewhere else, maybe try Rock Auto.

No real help, but Rockauto has them for prices all over the place, buyer beware on some of their parts though.

Question though, with mine in mind, how many miles on yours to be getting noisy?

2x 6203 bearings. You need two 6203 bearings to replace the single 5203 bearing. And once you do it, it will look like this. The black pulley was blasted, painted and two new SKF bearings installed. The bearings can be found on ebay for $5 each and the bearing you installed will be high quality, unlike the chinese crap in all the aftermarket replacement pulleys you can get off the shelf. You dont need to repaint it.

Just remember the pulley bolt is reverse threaded. Clockwise removes the bolt.

How did you get the old bearing out. I have a 20 ton press and it started to bend the body of the pulley. I used some heat too but same results. Penetrating oil was no go either.

I used my bench vise. Just support the outer perimeter on the front so the bearing had room to travel and use a socket that fits the opening on the backside. A little wd40 help too. Mine have always just pressed out without damage.
