..how long did you go with the thing clickin like mine's doin? I know it's time to change the contacts but I won't be able to for a couple of weeks.

When I bought my 4R it was past the clicking stage and to the point of randomly not starting. Then one day I was running late for school(of course it would happen then) and the starter stuck. It lasted about 3 months after i bought it. But I wouldn't recomend letting it go that long.

With mine, in a couple of weeks it stopped clicking and worked again. Somehow I think I had a double whammy of moisture and not using it for two days that let corrosion build up, and somehow it worked things out itself. It was good, because I wasn't in the mood to change them.
