What makes you think that?

Hilary totally supports Bill's infidelity? Encourages it even?

Donald was with another woman, and had a child with her, while still married? Or something like that?

Well if you can't see it then nobody is going to be able to convince you regarding the left being protected from the domino effect of their speech.

Start with these. Some are repeats

These are all people associated with our government. Now imagine what our Hollywood types would do if it was conservatives in power that went on rants like that.

How many Dems look badly upon Bill.......what is his approval ratings? Words vs. actions....and these days, words win.

What Trump said was disgusting and raunchy, but if he were a Dem, no one would care and would probably hide the comments behind "freedom of speech".

If the Democratic party wanted the perfect candidate to run against, they would have created a Trump.

For all those who pipe up that this isn't Bill's re-election and won't admit that Hillary attacked and ridiculed Bill's victims, will they at least agree that a restraining order against Bill be put in place to protect female White House staff if God forbid she wins.

Just out of curiosity, but do you think the way Obama used the word p*ssy is even remotely the same as the way Trump used it? And that's trying to just look at it minus any of the politics, if possible.

Well I only know of 2 kinds of P*ssy. And I don't think he was talking about a cat. So making a statement like that is still very degrading towards women. It's an objectifying statement. Now I guess we have to wonder if he still views women as objects. And if Trump still thinks the same about how to treat women as he did 11 years ago.

So if I'm reading you right, you think someone quoting the words of someone else from a book means the speaker is objectifying women? I'd say that's quite the leap.

I see you've said the word p*ssy in your post when talking about something someone else said. So tell me, how long have you been objectifying women?

Well I will respond to part of this because it is a legitimate question. Regarding quoting someone else being objectifying. If I quote a rap song and drop the N word 3 or 4 time I would be accused of being racist by everyone around me. How would this be any different. Do I look at women in an objectifying manner? Sure at least a bit, most straight guys do. Would I stand up and say it in a speech no. Will you compare the Internet chat board to a speech we will find out. But remember at that speech they were there to listen to him.

You're completely ignoring context. I can't hardly even respond to this because it makes no sense at all. In what context are you quoting a rap song? Are you quoting it in a discussion of the potential damage racist language can have on young listeners or are you dancing to the music hollering the lyrics at the top of your lungs?

I'm just not following your logic when you want to go willy nilly with the concept of context.

Well we may live in different areas. If I quote a rap song in the Seattle are, high population of liberals, I will be called racist if I say the N word only because I am white. That's just the way it is. Regardless of context, they ban Huckleberry Finn books because of the word regardless of context.

Here are some examples of how progressive/liberal Seattle is
http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2011/03/crazy_in_socialist_seattle_ben.html

They teach white privilege, not really sure if that applies to all white people or just straight white people. I have a fair amount of friends in the gay community. One couple I do a lot of work for in particular got in to a conversation with me about it. They asked me what it was? They really didn't know as they worked there ass off for what they have, came from poor families, and are great fun for everything they have. Oh yea they are white as well.

Now when I asked them what they thought it meant the both smiled and said no one would dare call them white privileged. After all that could and probably would be considered a hate crime or homophobic at a minimum. They joked that if you not straight the rules don't apply to you.

Now I know this is my experience and others will have vastly different ones. As seen earlier with a discussion with Hepar about crossroads. But it's an example of how race and bigotry and sexism only seem to be applied when it's convenient.

Context context context!

A similar comparison would be you say reading rap lyrics that contained the word "n*gga" in front of a class or group on maybe music history or something and you being recorded saying very derogatory and racist things behind closed doors. You still think the context in which you are using it is the same?

Now, say the recording that was used was of those same lyrics in the hypothetical that I mentioned in the first example above and were used against you later. You would then most likely argue that they were being "taken out of context." So, that could be one possible argument in the Trump tapes. That we as observers are taking out of the context in which he meant it.

2nd quote sorry. As for context really. Trumps quote while foolishly on tape wasn't a speech it was banter between two guys on a bus. In fact if you listen to it, clip below, you will see that the host is just as objectifying he just doesn't use the grab them phrase. He does tell the young lady she needs to give Donald a hug. Then she needs to give him a hug. But the context of the conversation is banter between 2 guys not a how to act speech not a it's ok to do this speech, just banter.
