If you owned a 98 Limited and.......

....had access to parts off a recently rolled 2000 limited, what would you scavenge off the wrecked runner?
I'm going to check this thing out in the morning and get the center console, of course. What else is worth snagging? The guy says the interior is complete. I'm assuming since it was rolled that the body is probably trashed.
Suggestions?

You might want to think about grabbing the roof console, too. Our 98s have really lousy overhead storage. Here's the link for the mod:

Yeah the 00 headlights aren't frosted, but clear and bolt right up to your 98. Definitely worth it if you can get them cheap.

I have a 99 SR5 and I have clear glass headlights :/

I would consider taking quite a bit. If you can get it a decent price, there is always resale

My leather is in great shape. Will the 2000 climate control plug in to the 98 harness? Any other modifications to make that work.

The engine and tranny are available 150K miles. I thought about that but I have no where to store it until I need it.

Is it 2wd with an e-locker? Are you 4wd? If yes to both, get the e-locker and all wiring. Then give it to me!

Perhaps the air intake box, and the MAF if it's cheap.

Interior I would grab the whole stereo surround thing for the dual power outlets. The offset clock on the 98's really bothers me too. I think that's what you meant by the console though.

Maybe grab the cargo area storage too.

Oh, and the power window switches for the auto up/down feature!

take the whole truck if the price is right. front/rear dif, actuators,vsv if nothing else steal the elocker and wiring off of it.head lights, front doors, seats, center console.. You see where I'm going with this lol.. There's so much on that truck that you could either use yourself or sell to someone that does. I'd take a truck with you and grab whatever your wallet will allow.

front window motors and switches so you can get the auto up and down for both front sides. I had a 99 and it was totaled and now have a 98 which I love but miss a couple of things. auto windows, center console, digital Odometer, Security system with nice fob, Other than those I can't think of anything.

Well the guy reneged on the deal for the interior parts. Supposedly had someone come along and offer to buy the whole interior. Disappointing! The console search continues.....
