IFS Diff oil seal replacement

I have my front suspension completely disassembled, only thing still there is front diff. I think it would be a good time to replace the internal oil seal. The FSM shows to use the SST tool (slide hammer) to get it out. Has anyone replaced this before? Am i opening a can of worms doing this if it's not leaking? Just wanted to see what i'm getting myself into before i open it up.

Wouldn't mess with it, myself. That's not a common point of failure and it's not hard to get back to it if it fails in the future, so I'd let that sleeping dog lie.
