Anyone know the size of the bolt holding the ignition coil in place? I need to pick up a new one at the hardware store tomorrow and can’t find the size anywhere

Oh I can find out on my parts rig. I think it's a 12mm {wrong 10mm flare head} and probably 6mm x1.25 thread {6mm X1.0 Thread and 7/8 inch of threads} However, I have to pull one off my parts rig to verify the length and the threads. You have one vibrate loose and fall out? These are guesses so dont take them as absolutes until verified.

6mm x 1.0, 10mm head,Ace Hardware usually has a good selection of metric; I'd remove one of mine to measure length but it's below freezing at the moment. Bring one of the remaining two coil bolts with you.

Thank you, I actually have one bolt that I think is the wrong size and is coming loose, I got a CEL yesterday for a cylinder 5 miss, and in the process of testing the coil packs and checking the plug I noticed the different bolt.

I remember noticing the mismatched bolt when I did the plugs a while ago but didn’t give it much thought, however after reinstalling the coil packs and tightening the bolt I took it for a drive and noticed a lot more power going up hills and no return of the code, I think the bolt being loose caused an intermittent misfire, but I won’t be sure until I can drive it more and see if the code follows the coil

Yup I was wrong 10mm flange head 6x1.0 thread 7/8 inch long threads only long
