"Illegal" Christmas Lights

....even if they were flashing (which i doubt) there was no way they are anywhere near as bright as sirens.

IMO, this isnt any different than the underbody glow that fast and the furious made oh so popular. 'public safety'. **rolls eyes**

Exactly how bright are sirens? :police:

I would say it has something to do with the Christmas tree covering up the license plate. Seems like a legit reason to get pulled over to me. I assume if it was just the lights up top he would be fine.

LOL thats a sticker that was added to the photo to cover the persons plate. But I have to admit, for a split second I thought the same thing

Most drivers have zero idea about the laws that are in their states vehicle code.
oooooh, story time!

my father is friends with various LEOs, he told me one of his buddies hosted a traffic safety class for people with tickets. a topic that comes up frequently is merging. the LEO has had to fight people in these classes because some people genuinely think the people on the freeway should merge to the people getting on the freeway. some even have the audacity to tell the cop he is wrong, he will point to any relevant VC and the people just scoff at him.

i really wish we did hold our drivers to a higher regard here in the US.

:bravo:

Job security.

IMHO drivers should have to go through EVOC to get a license.

The statute says you can't have red or blue lights or flashing white lights. I've used my static white lights for a couple of years now, no problem.
