You still didn't answer my question, but since you're having trouble understanding it, I'll break it down and try to make it more relevant to your situation as you described.

An illegal immigrant is walking down your road and is about to pass your house. He is on your road because he was staying with someone who owns a house nearby and he was walking to the police station to turn himself in. He had to walk past your house to get to the police station.
Some members of your family are visiting you and are actually in your house at this time. You are not home because you are at the range sighting in your favorite gun.
A fire accidentally starts due to an electrical fault. By the time your fire alarm system has detected the fire, the smoke conditions are getting very bad and have unfortunately blocked an escape route for your family members. The alarm company has notified the fire department and they are on their way, but it will still be several minutes before they get there.
Our illegal immigrant hears a call for help and sees smoke coming from your house. He quickly realizes that people are in immediate danger, so he calls 911 as he runs up to the windows to help. Hearing the commotion, neighbors are coming out of their houses to see what's going. Some of your neighbors have firearms too, but it is obvious that the illegal immigrant is trying to help people and not trying to steal from your house or harm anyone, so they decide not to shoot the unarmed man who is not threatening anyone's life.
The illegal immigrant successfully aides in the rescue of your family members just before the fire department gets there.

Now go ahead, shoot him because you're a patriotic American

Illegals ARE a huge problem, they DID commit a federal crime and people want to give them amnesty.. :crazy:

Did you even read my post? Reading comprehension is obviously a huge stumbling block for you. There's only one person who who doesn't "get" it, and it's you.

I never said I 'supported' illegal immigrants (I don't even know how that matters if I did, say it...)

But if you had bothered to read anything I've posted - before trying to throw the "how-would-you-feel" scenario in my face - I know how the system works, and I know why what you're advocating WON'T work.

I'm able to recognize that the solution to the problem will never be to just round them all up and put them in jail. It's not that simple and our country will never come to an agreement to get that done, anyway. This is what you obviously can't understand. You do realize that you can't simply put people in jail without charging them with a crime, right? Due process? Civics 101?

Like I said, look at past "amnesties" and look at what I'm talking about. Big difference.

Explaining my experience in both 1) dealing with illegals and 2) working in the federal criminal justice system was meant to to show how "arresting and jailing" them isn't practical. It's not "sugar coating" (?).

I can't break it down to plant-life for you any more than I already have. As I said, my plan isn't perfect. But it most certainly isn't "amnesty."

You can keep beating the drum about what should be done, but it's not solving the problem. Sending every illegal to jail will never happen. Ever.

I don''t think it takes a rocket scientist to see that our laws don't work that way, our criminal justice system can't handle it, and our people won't support it.

You asked for some examples, and I gave them. Now since that was not what you were expecting you try to change your stupid argument?? hahaha, wake up little boy. Illegal immigrant crime is a tiny drop in the ocean compared to domestic crime.
If you hate people who are less fortunate than you so much, then why don't you turn your attention towards the hundreds of thousands of US citizens that knowingly employ illegal immigrants? Did it ever occur to you that if they couldn't get work here they might not come? Have you ever asked why people employ them?
Instead of trying to put a band aid on the issue, it's about time people like you started looking at the root cause(s). That is where your answers will be.
 
Hmm... I'm a little slow, I guess How did this story with licenses ended? And one more thing - don't illegals use fake documents mostly? I've read about it on the Reuters. Then I began to study this question and found out, that buying fake ID or license on the internet is as easy as a cake. I've found id-hurry fake id review on one site. It's one of the biggest fake ID manufacturers. I don't think they choose customers carefully. I think, anyone can buy a fake ID from them.

NY became the 13th state to allow illegals to get driver's licenses as long the "papers" from their country is current within 2 years-
