Man, I don't think I would want my first car to be a brand new 4Runner. First cars are suppose to be semi-unreliable heaps of scrap metal that will get you from place to place, but teach you how to keep the car running. Also, it doesn't hurt to have an older car when first learning to drive. Insurance is lower, and it doesn't matter if you get a scrape here or a dent there. Plus, a small used car (like a celica) would be a heck of a lot more forgiving when it comes to handling in extreme situations. If you take a turn too fast in the 4Runner, you're going to be upside down at the bottom of a 50 foot ravine.
You've got a sweet ride there for a new 16 year old driver, but take it easy while driving. It'll take you quite a while to develop a sense for what the cars around you are doing, and how to handle the vehicle in an emergency. When I was starting out, all the distractions in the 4Runner would have been a bad thing.

the hottest chicks drive suv's! nice to see other ladies (besides my gf) getting into the habit of wanting to know about maintaining cars rather than just driving them to the ground. thats an awesome first ride!!.....my first ride at 16 was a '71 toyota corona
