My advice would be to replace the gasket for the moonroof. I'm sure that's you're best bet.

I think the condom dipped in wax mixed with mus**** and silicone is better than the OEM gasket

Use clear silicone bathroom/kitchen sealant. It adheres well to tile and thats a similar surface to paint. I've used it on my roof when I installed my roof rack mounted lights and I have not leaking issues and its holding up very well.
