Just wanted to say that I'm back, and I missed all of you. Some of you may (or may not) remember my 3rd gen T4R that I had a few months back (pic below) well I sold her for a 2004 Mustang Mach 1. The Mach was great and all except for all the tickets lol, but I really need something to take on road trips, camping, people hauling, etc. SOOOO I am very happy to show off my new ride, just picked her up today 2005 Sr5 4x4 black on tan completely stock but not for long. Looking at doing a lift, rims, tires, HID kit, stereo, and who knows what else.

Can anyone direct me to what kit(s) I need to buy to do a HID 10000K Blue conversion. I know nothing about where to start. Thanks!!

Dont go 10000K! You actually will loose candelas and the light output will be purple, not blue. I had 6000K in my Tacoma and that was even a little too purple. My recommendation is to go around 4500-5000K to get the best output. I think most the luxury vehicles are around 4700K and have the nice HID blue that you probably are looking for.
 
After 5K you will be losing lumens and blue will begin. 10K will be purple and you will lose allot of light and attract negative attention. The best temperature is between 4 and 5K. If you what brightness you will need to increase the wattage. Just be careful of how much your OEM wiring and fixture can take. Best to get the wattage limits from people who are actually using higher wattage successfully. ALWAYS use dielectric compound (Grease) on all the connector’s contact points. This will reduce heat.

and since nobody threw it out there...go to XenonDepot. There's a member on here (user name XenonDepot) that can answer all your questions and help you with the install. I think these are the most popular HID kits on this site and they're what I'll be buying when I get around to it!
 
Welcome back! Your history seems way too close to mine. I had a 97 4runner, sold and got a 96 Mustang Cobra, that didn't work out and I ended up with a 03 black 4runner. Sweet Mach, I think that's gonna be my next Mustang. As for the 4runner, good luck with the mods, and as you probably already know be careful, it's addicting!

Congrats on your new 4Runner. I've always wanted a Mustang, but never at the expense of my Runner. Both would make a nice combination, don't you think?:hatsoff:
 
Congrats on the new ride! You would need to get an h11 HID kit to upgrade the low beams on your vehicle. I would not suggest going with such a high color temperature as you will lose a lot of useable light output.
