I'm changing the trans filter - found these torque specs, just want to confirm

While I've got the pan off, im torquing the valve body bolts

Valve body – 7ftlbs
Pan 65 inlbs
Drain Plug 15ftlbs

There's a little gold colored M6 screw that fastens the filter to the valve body. Be REAL careful with that one. I attempted to torque it to spec with a cheap in-lb torque wrench and snapped the head off.

Recommendation...

Go practice torqueing something non critical with your in-lbs torque wrench before trying something critical.

In-lbs torque wrenches are great in application but if your not practiced with using them they can be tricky to accurately use.
