Im having a real problem finding a painted grille and rear hatch piece

I found the rear hatch piece on a toyota parts website but nothing that noted "shadow mica" Havent found the grille anywhere. For those of you who have done this can you point me in the right direction? Just want to see what it will run me and see if its worth it. 99% sure I want to at least do the grille

Take it to a local body shop and have them do it, shouldn't cost to much. Might even be cheaper :bigok:

I would change out the front grill to a color keyed grill...but I wouldn't touch the rear garnish, because it looks like it needs to be pryed off & may scratch or damage more.

I know Falls, G.I.G., HB 4X4 and J.A. swapped out their stock Smoked Chrome Grill for a Limited Color Keyed Grill & it looks gorgeous!!

Don't know how much they paid, but HB 4X4 said he didn't pay much.

The rear garnish DOES NOT get pryed off. It's held on by several bolts accessable by taking off the rear hatch inside trim.

When I just looked up the rear piece, I looked at https://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/partscat.html

Under collision catalog, click on lift gate, exterior trim, & handle, then click on Limited, with or without monitor, and from there, you can decide which one you want. It does break it down to

I was pretty sure it was more extensive to remove it. Not worth the hassle.

Here is an illustration I got off the site. Unfortunately they don't attach illustrations to all the parts inquiries. You'll probably need to look at each sub listing to determine which one you need or want. And again to see a picture of it. You may need to even check other years. I may be wrong, but I believe the rear piece is the same from 2003 up.

It's actually not that bad taking off the rear trim piece. I removed the part you are looking at replacing, and modified it on mine when I installed my rear view camera. Again. it's really not very difficult. Just be sure not to over tighten the nuts when reinstalling the exterior piece.
