So, I joined the club today.

I am now the very proud owner of a black 1997 Yota 4Runner Limited!

I really love her. She drives like a dream, and I can't wait to get her on the dirt. Thanks to everyone who gave their time and effort to give me their opinions and tell me what they knew! It helped for sure.

Pictures, along with the application of my Brazil and Detroit stickers, forthcoming.

Cheers!

Fine! Well, I wanted to wait until I replaced my CF card for my DSLR and a sunny day, but fine!

Here we go!

Running boards are coming off soon, but my Grandfather just passed, so time is a bit limited.

Anyone know where I can get a spare lens for that fog lamp? I've looked everywhere but I have only found new lamp assemblies.

Silly question, but are the front two interior reading lights supposed to come on when the door is ajar? If so, how do I make them do that?

Nevermind, answered it myself. It took some craftily worded Google searches, but I found out that they have to be turned on manually (unless modded).

I'm just not sure what to attack first with this after removing the running boards. I have such a limited budget, so I'm not lifting it anytime soon. However, maybe a brighter dome light with a red night-vision-saving map light would be in order. I generally have a lot of early alpine starts or late night trail-head arrivals, and it would be nice to not kill my night-vision while driving down scurry access roads.
