I'm not a virgin anymore! I finally did it!!

I was finally able to take it off road this weekend. Went down to Tuttle Creek in Manhattan, KS. Had a blast! Very mild to some that may view these, but just perfect for me!

after all the money i've dumped into mine this past year on stuff from my solid axle swap to my dual transfer cases, you've already wheeled your runner harder than me!:thumb3: hardcore wheeling or not, anything is better than seeing your rig in the shop for weeks/months at a time. glad you had fun!!!

just because its stock does not mean you should not take it off road. i have been offroad 2 times now first was all stock with street tires and second was with 32" tires and still stock. both times it was snowing and i still was fine.

I agree with kevin, there was a stock FJ that did okay through there. You just find the trails you're comfortable with and stick to those. I didn't meet anyone there but there were a few Jeeps on the trial that I crossed paths with a few times so I new if I got myself into any trouble, they'd more than likely come around to help me out.

Actually, Zach ( [MENTION=48111]zstampe[/MENTION]) had told me about this place when I was trying to get the scoop on Tuttle Creek. I was hoping to make it down there, but ran out of time (honestly, I don't think my husband wanted to go :ballchain: )
I'm hoping to try it out sometime as well. It's a bit more of a jaunt, but if I can stay in KC then it'd be worth the drive down.

Popped my head in here , and seen this title posted and then the author, started to smh, where she going with this post....

It's always good to be able to get out and stretch both of your legs, whether it being mild to wild, whether your stock or built.

I used to take my first t4r stock other than m/t's on it and find some little more than it should be doing, but, it still was all good and fun.
