I live in AZ and I'm not into the dirt, blistering sun, and CA rejects that are moving here....

I'm not saying I completly hate AZ, but I am originally fron PA and am still having a hard time adjusting to this atmosphere out here and not sure where to go in the US...

Just a poll from everyone that are either on the west coast or the east coast... Why do you prefer where you're living?

So are you a PA reject that moved over there?

Moved here from Oregon about 9 years ago. Tell ya the truth and being sarcastic.....I hate it here to.....Today was 80 and not a cloud in the sky. Back in Oregon It's raining and cold as hell. I get up in the morning and get to wear a t-shirt. Sucks.....LOL Summer gets hot but you really do get used to it. We need to get you out and see some of the beautiful places AZ has to offer. I had a chance to move here a long time ago.....I think to myself why did I wait so long........LOL

Where is the poll?

I haven't been to Arizona, but I would say stay in Arizona instead of moving back to PA, unless you have family up there.

An adjustment to my original post.. I don't hate CA people or in general are calling them rejects. That's not what I meant - just wanted to clarify before I get beat up with comments.

And yes I am a PA reject :p

I am from NJ and I live this everyday too...

From a 4Runner perspective: (And this list can and should be loads longer than this)...

The Good:
1. Your vehicles will not rust. I remember having to replace mufflers all the time..no more..
2. Your ice scraper will remain unused like mine has for the last 11 years
3. You may never know if your defroster works or if you even have one.
4. Your locks will never freeze, meaning no crawling through the back hatch after a good freezing rain.

The Bad:
1. Your tires dry rot fast
2. battery dies after 3 years like it is on a schedule
3. Don't forget to replace your windshield wipers annually. The one day a year it rains, your windshield wipers will be so brittle they fly off. :o)

I left Jersey because cost of living was insane. Having said that, I'd go back in a minute.
A comment about drivers:
Drivers back east are pros and really courteous, you know exactly who is gong to do what, unlike here where everybody learned to drive somewhere ELSE and act accordingly, ie left lane hogging and driving 10 under the posted limits...
Not to mention our California bretheren here in AZ who drive like thieves...

Georgia, thanks to all the SUVs warming the earth (not that i believe that), Georgia now has the best climate. Not too hot during the summer but can still wear a short sleeve shirt in December. There are mountains, the beach, and Georgia Football. You don't have to go far to get to some great trails or go the opposite direction and you'll be on the beach. It's an all around great place.

Not an east west thing here but did move from Philly to Florida 15 years ago and the pelple down here are wack. It's an odd state with out much true history in comparo to PA. I get the feeling Daytona is about 20 years behind the modern world. Shiz man 50 years ago they would not let non-whites go to the beach. How backwards it that and it affects the mentality on both sides. But if I did not like it I would have moved back.....

Colorado is quite friendly to vehicles (dry climate) and we have some of the best 4wheelin' in the US and Moab is right next door. ;):
