Impact Wrench for onboard air (no tank).

Does anyone run an impact wrench off their onboard compressor? I've got an ARB CKMA12 on my xmas list, but at 2.65CMF it should be fine to air up tires and handle an airlocker 9should I eventually decide to add one). But looking around, I can't find an impact wrench that would run on that low an airflow at load.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

That was an interesting read Mike... but I dont drive a H1 hummer LOL .. also it sounds like it wont mount well under the hood...

I just want something that would be easy if I ever had to change a wheel on the road, but my truck doesnt go off road a lot, so it doesnt need to be military grade

The best way to run an impact from my research would be with a CO2 tank. You'd have to have a large tank or a high CFM output compressor but still would use up a lot of air quickly.

I bought a Dewalt 18 volt cordless 1/2" impact last year. Works awesome! Still cost about $300 from most retailers.

Sorry, but aside from a dedicated bottle like iD suggested you really only have two ways to go... smaller wrench or larger compressor. Oasis isn't just for H1's though, but they do require some creative mounting if space is limited. What's wrong with a little overkill
