2004 Limited V8 4WD ...
got this strange vibration ... I bought it with 60,000 miles on it, and from day one, when in reverse with the wheels turned hard right, it vibrates. At first, I suspected the idle was dropping too low (that's how it feels), but that's not it ... it's directly related to the wheels turning (idle stays steady) ... it feels like drivetrain bind (crow hop) ...
The dealership's stumped ... they had it for two days and some 22 miles ... two techs. and nothing. It won't do it every time ... worse when cold ... more likely over uneven pavement (driveway) ...
Any ideas? Anybody seen anything similar? Front differential? Could they have used the wrong diff. fluid? They say "no", but I'm not so sure.
All in all, pretty minor, but I'd like to catch it before the extended warranty runs out.
