You must not have ridden in a car with cooled seats. Those are the best anti-swamp ass measures ever.

VW did it 1st back in 1951 and is affectionately known as a "crotch cooler".

I prefer swamp ass as a cooling measure so I rarely use the AC, but I will say, the ball vent is great for those cold winter days.

I'm tempted to rig up a piece of flexible ducting that taps into the AC that I can stick up my pants leg on really hot days. :laugh:

Truly miss the wing Windows on my '86 runner, only bad part about them is the occasional bug(BEE) that would be directed right up the leg of your shorts. Many of accidents almost happened due to the erratic driving when such a thing Occurred. ( enter scene from tommy boy)

My father owns a couple late 60's Chevy Corvairs. They have crotch coolers! Just pull the handle back as you're driving down the road and fresh cool air flows right to the sweet spot. 'Tis a beautiful thing!
