Increase Remote Range

I have a Audiovox/Prestige remote, and I set it so that it will remotely open the windows. Is there any way that I can increase the range of the remote? It is kind a short right now?

I put the remote to my throat and it gets a longer range. I don't know why it works, but it does. Hahaa. I have a viper alarm with the a valet remote start.

you now become the antenna...thats why it works. Also you are raising the transmitter up 12-16" higher, that can have somehting to do with it as well.

I've always thought that the range was almost too long at times. I was able to trigger the horn on my truck from the top of a local mountain which was a about a 30 minute hike to the top and over a 1,000 foot climb. I could hardly see my truck ( just a white dot), but I saw the light flash, and could hear the horn honk. Now that's range!!!
