Not sure if anyone here is a fan of the show "Top Gear" on Discovery, but recently (not sure the exact date, it was TIVO'd) they set out to destroy an '84? Hilux with 190,000 miles on it. They crashed it, sunk it in the English channel for 8 hours, ran it throuh a building, dropped it, dropped a camper on it, and burned it, and each time it started up and drove away. If the 4Runner is half of that car, then damn!!! It was pretty amazing to see this thing take the punishment.
