Indicator signal relay chatter

This is a weird one, never heard any mention of it. When I move the turn signal lever (either way) it makes a really high frequency "chatter" from the relay. If I move the lever quickly this doesn't last very long as the circuit fully engages so you don't really notice anything odd but if I jut slowly move the lever like when you are changing lanes and don't need to fully push it all the way, you are just doing a temporary signal, it can get caught halfway between on and off and it's like it just chatters at a few Hertz. Imagine the regular indicator clicking at once per second, and then speeding that up to 20 clicks per second. I changed out the relay so I think it is something in the indicator lever. Maybe I'll just change that.

Mine does the same thing sometimes. Like you said, mostly when moving it slowly like changing lanes. Never tried replacing it though
