I like the reverse glow, but I think they would look too ricey in Limited. I would really like to add an oil pressure and volt gauge on my A pillar but I don't think there is enough room with the "oh Shit" handle. And the single gauge pillar pod is like 80 bucks.

Man, those look awesome! I take it that there's a control to change the color somewhere? I like it! :bigok:

BTW, what's the "Fuel Door" indicator? Is that for a different year runner? I don't think my 2001 has that.

if you are talking about the indicator light on the very bottom right, it is a low fuel indicator. the one on the top right is just a symbol to show that that is the fuel guage.

yea there is also a lil indiglo button pad... real thin flush mount with two sided tape... I have it on the bottom left of the steering wheel where those knock outs are... it fits perfectly on the large sqaure one in the top left corner.

eww..

I don't like 'em. They look tacky.

Plus the "blue/green" indiglo strain the eyes.

to each his own... :) as far as a strain on the eyes its not that bad as long as they arent turned up all the way.

This is what I was talking about. It looks like a warning light to tell you that your fuel door is open.

haha thats funny i was looking at that in mine the other day thinking the exact same thing that it was an indicator light that the fuel door was open.

nope, its just there to say, "hey, your on the wrong side, your fuel door is on this side!!"

basically just an arrow to point to the side the fuel door is on in case you forget.

Sad that they need to put that there...

Does the green color match the rest of the OEM LED's for the rest of the car (ex.climate control, etc)?

I thought there was a indicator light there that comes on if you leave your gas CAP off. Check your manual, pretty sure i saw it there.

it kinda does... matches my Pioneer cd player perfect... I think im gonna try and change to color of the clock some how... I dont have climate control =( as my truck is an SR5 but it looks awesome... everyone that see's it in person loves it... 100 times better than stock.... doesnt look as truck like on the inside ...

you can change all the led colors but not the clock. Youd have to find someone who actually makes them in another color and then try and fit it into yours

Yeah, the clock would be difficult as it is a fluorescent tube type display. You would have to replace the actual display to change the color. The difficulty would be in locating an identical display with the desired color.

yeah .... Maybe if I take it apart and add some blue colored transparent plastic... like for a over head projecter or something.... It would dim it a lil but change the over all color... I wonder if anyone has tried this? ... or I could not be so critical and just deal with it... its not that bad.... I might take a look at it when I take apart the dash again to run the wires for my amp.

That just might work, if you don't mind losing a little brightness. If you checked with a lighting company that sells gels for theater lighting, you could pretty much name your exact color. They come in hundreds of different hues! Look here: http://www.markertek.com/SearchProdList.asp?off=0&sort=prod

that is a great idea... I was also thinking about those lil covers that come with strobe lights... they have like a red, and a blue one.. my lil brother has one.. I might just go swipe it and give a try...
