SELLING my black TRD wheels... (listed in swap now... cheaper than you will find anywhere!)
If someone close to Cedar Falls, IA and is interested... I'm going to either unload my TRD wheels that arrived last week or and extra set of basically new '14 Trail wheels (with sensors and like new Duelers). I had planed to put the TRD Pro wheels on my Limited but ended up trading for a Trail last week... So I actually have two sets I will be selling. Not trying to make this a FS thread but I thought since these seem tough to find for some, maybe someone would be interested here. I have NO plans to make money on these and in fact I'll take a little bit of a hit to get them moved and hopefully get them on a fellow member's 4Runner here. PM me if interested. I already checked shipping and to CA for instance and it was around $150 UPS, so shipping will probably be out. I would be willing to drive an hour or two (on my schedule) to catch up if needed.

I came to the same conclusion for the exact same reason. And, I really like the way the grey looks with Nautical Blue Metalic (there are a few pictures areound here somewhere). I orderd my wheels. I'm hoping they show up next week. The week after I'll get my TEP truck delivered. I still have to decide which tires I'm going to mount. I'm reading threads like crazy on tires. I'm sure my questions will follow soon.

So why aren't you using the TRD wheels on the Trail you are getting?
I ask because I'm expecting to put the grey ones on my Trail. Am I missing something?

Nope, you're not missing a thing. You need to put the wheels on you like the best. I actually love the TRD wheels and have drooled over them from day one. But the more I look at my silver trail with the factory trail wheels, the more I like this combo. Tomorrow I will hopefully get some Cooper AT3's on them so I can finally put the wheel/tire debate for myself behind me.
: The silly thing is I bought a set of Trail wheels for my Limited last spring (Trails for sale now too 
) before the TRD's came out but never got around to putting them on. I don't think you can go wrong either way! Looking forward to your pics.Yours too. Make sure you post the pictures of the new tires on the rims.

Finally got my black TRD Pros put on:
Got them done at the dealership with a separate set of TPMS Sensors. Only issue was that I will need to get them balanced elsewhere as my dealer did not have the proper sized cone to fit the TRD Wheels. Probably because my dealer is Canadian and they rarely see these things.
Already got a few people checking out my Wheels while parked at a lot.

Thanks, I debated on whether to get grey or black but in the end I wanted something different in color than the stock wheels. Next up is putting in my Weathertech digital mats and then its off to the river for some fishing.
They look awesome! Blue is such a great color you can't go wrong with either black or grey!

Thanks, it was my daughter that picked blue. Not much choice up here in terms of colors or options. When I saw a SR5 Premium in the color I wanted, I pulled the trigger right away.

It is the very front portion of the inner fender (I actually took the bolt out and repositioned it further forward). Also the actual fender (the front portion where the fender flared portion ends) had to be trimmed a bit.

Finally got them installed after debating what tires to go with. I think they look amazing and completely change the look of the truck.
