Info on these TRD wheels

I was in your same boat, wanted moonroof and KDSS. With your same intentions I set off to build my TEP into a TRDP, however I found many on this forum seemed pretty excited about a variety of possible suspension upgrades.
Nothing wrong with the 5100's, but other options can allow easily changing ride height, others like mine have adjustable ride . . . etc.
Throw the TDRP wheels on if you like the look and check out some of the great suspension options that may better suit your needs.

How do you fit 16" wheels on a 5the gen? Downgrade the brakes?

Haha, don't guess you looked at the earlier pages in this exact thread? Check out p11 & p12 for pics of my Silver 2010 TE back in August after I got the new wheels installed...

Both the Gray and Black are identical. I think either one would look great but I chose the black for more of a contrast. I can't believe how many thumbs ups I get while stopped at the light from fellow 4runner owners. All because of the TRD Wheels and Duratrac Tires. While I like the SR5 Stock Wheels, I like the TRD Pro ones better.

Actually, mine is the Nautical blue. I wanted black because gray was similar in colour to the stock wheels. On a Silver 4runner the contrast of the black wheels would be greater and give a different look than the gray ones. I don't think you would go wrong with either choice.

Black looks great up close, but from far away it almost looks like you have nothing but hubcaps. That is why I was thinking about the matte gray.

That's one of the main reasons I went with the gray, shows more detail of the wheel.

Your truck looks great. Could you give the part # for the TRD rims you bought? Where did you buy them and how much?
