thinking about buying some lug nuts with a lock on them? Haven't noticed too many guys have them based on the pictures I've seen. My truck sits a few times a month in a parking lot for a few days at a time..would hate to have the rims stolen. Thoughts?

I used the OEM lug nuts and purchased the locking lug nuts for my wheels.
There are black aftermarket lug nuts out there as well.

I just ordered mine from a local Toyota parts department. From my understanding you can just call any parts department and have them place an order. I just got my truck yesterday (2006 limited V6 4x4). Wheels arrive by Wednesday according to the guy that ordered it.

Had me worried there for a second. I"m running Terra Grappler G2's in stock size and plan to mount my TRD rims in a few weeks. I wasn't planning on having to mess with the fender liner etc.

I found a dealer on eBay selling them for $826 w free shipping OBO. I contacted them and was able to get them for $726 w free shipping to NJ

Thanks for the referral. Tried to price match my dealership with another local one today while I was in for service but they couldn't come close. Went on and offered $726 as well and it was accepted. Ends up it's actually cheaper than what I was willing to pay in person after tax is added lol. :thumb:

Can anybody point me in the right direction to the correct lug locks for these trdpro wheels. About 20 pages back somebody posted a specific part number but it was the wrong one. The pamphlet that comes with these wheels specifically says "do not use conical seat acorn Lugnuts… These wheels require flat seat lugs" ..... for the life of me I cannot find lug locks that are black that are not conical acorn lugs.

I just got my wheels in about a week ago, so you should be able to purchase the black again.

Yes. I got mine as an add on when I bought my 4runner. They were $1200, which is expensive. I was ok with it because I talked them down on a few other things. I've heard them running anywhere between $800-1000.
