im new to (maybe new to) 4runners. always wanted one and now is my chance. but have a few questions. and i figure what a better place then here where i can get some stright answers.

first, me and my wife are going to be doing some traveling (she will be a traveling nurse so we will go pretty much every where) she dosen't want to get rid of her car (07 VW Eos with a GVW of around 4500lb) i know i know heavy car. so she got the "great" idea to haul it. so i found this....

(hope the link works)2004 Toyota 4Runner Limited V8 4x4

2004 Toyota 4Runner Limited V8 4x4. Fully loaded i mean Loaded. is this a fair price? he said he will go down to around 20,000 and some change. also will it be able to haul the wifes car with out a problem? im seeing diffrent tow capabilities from 5,000lb to 7,300lb. and how is the handling towing? i was thinking of useing a car dollie not a full trailer. Any info will be awsome and a big help. if all goes right, i hopefully will be picking this up this weekend. thanks for the help folks.

first time writer hopefully soon will be long time member.

Market conditions vary quite a bit. To check the price, appraise the truck at both Edmunds and KBB. The "Private Party" price is about what you should expect to pay. Also, compare the "Dealer Retail" price to what other dealers are asking for a similarly equipped vehicle. If there is a big difference, expect the Private Party price to also change accordingly. (For example, if dealers are advertising for less than what those sites say is Retail, then things aren't selling, and the Private Party price should come down as well.)
