Infotainment Sys Reset?

I've searched a bit and can't find a procedure.

My Infotainment System has a mind of its own lately. I'm thinking if there's a reset process it would fix the problem at least for a while.

Basically the system determines what screen it wants to display, rather than what I want displayed. For instance it may go from Radio Presets to Mapping.

Hold down the on/off/volume knob for about five seconds.

If that doesn't work, disconnect the battery (negative terminal) for a minute or two.

My stock headunit is horrible as well, sometimes bluetooth connects but doesn't broadcast thru speakers, map is glitchy and if I connect phone before stereo boots up it does weird crap.
