can a fuel injector leak off gas after shutting off the engine? I've been having a problem now for a while on #3 cylinder after engine warms up after driving and shutting it off for about an hour it will have the code 303 and misfire, but if I shut it off and restart rightaway it wont miss fire, also if I drive it a long period off time it will start misfiring,if its an injector how hard is #3 to replace

They can absolutely stick open and the pressure in the rail would bleed down through the sticking injector. You could put a fuel pressure gauge in to see how long it takes to empty the rail after the fuel pump shuts off, or you could pick up a fuel system cleaner (I prefer redline) and run that to see if it clears things up.

Sounds like my #4 when it failed. The electrical coil in the injector began working eradically. Turns out the injector was unrebuildable when I sent it to witchhunter for service. Be thankful its on the passenger side and just replace it. You can buy one injector from rockauto which sells GB reman OEM ejectors for $30. On the drivers side you end up removing the whole intake plenum. What a PITA.
