Inoperable sunroof in nearly fully closed position

Rattle, or actual movement?

I've been in and out of my sunroof a few times (and will go into it again once the ACF-50 comes in).

The movement would seem due to the slack in the cable assembly.

Motor -> Cable Assembly -> Sunroof

If the cable assembly is holding the sunroof firmly into place (move it to the 75% position, and see if you can move it, and if you can ... uh oh!) with a non-moving motor attached to the sunroof, I'd not think that would be the problem.

However, rattling can come from lots of places. I'd start by removing the covers (inside which stop your fingers from getting pinched if you were to try to play with it) and any loose bits. It may also be squeaking of the rubber grommet (aka weather stripping) which some lube can help with.

Busted the "guide block" clip, does anyone know of a part number or do I replace the entire wind deflector assembly?

I called my local dealer, they couldn't find it and I tried the online parts sites and it's not listed.

Sorry for the resurrection, but anyone had luck locating this part?

My local dealer only sells it as a whole assembly to the tune of $750, they couldn't find a part number for the individual guides.

Probably not going to find just that part, but possible, I would start looking around at savage yards to see if you can get lucky and find it.
