Input on possible '08 purchase

Hello, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a used 2008 4Runner and wanted to get people's opinions.

-2008 V6 SR5 4WD
-44,000 miles
-Clean carfax and autocheck (1 owner, no accidents)
-Pulled up maintenance on Toyota owner site and had all regular maintenance done at Toyota dealership including 30,000 mile
-Options: towing pkg, rear spoiler, roof rack, cargo nets and covers, 17" alloy wheels, power moonroof

Seller is asking about $24,800. It looks very, very clean and well-maintained. No visible dings, rust etc.

What do you all think?

Yeah, sounds like a great truck, but you should be able to knock the price down enough to cover your own fees. You'll be more likely to get them to agree to a lower price if you list all the reasons (extra costs on your end) and ensuring you're a serious buyer. Good luck!

sounds nearly identical to mine, I paid a few grand less, so I'd bet you could too, also, if it has a sunroof, check it for rust on inside when you open it around the glass, if so, make them fix it prior to purchase. also let me know, I'd like to see how common this is. good luck with your purchase, what color is it?

Sounds nearly identical to mine, too, and I paid $28k at the end of 2008 (although sticker was just under $36k), new/leftover off the dealers lot. I think you can do better price-wise.

Thanks for the input, guys. I'll work on ratcheting down that price. It seems a couple thousand could come off it.

@08medic4x4: it's the galactic gray mica. If I end up getting it, I'll post pics. This will be my first T4R (and my first Toyota, for that matter -- owned Honda for what seems like forever).
