Inputting destinations while moving

Hey Guys,

At clublexus.com, there is a post that gives directions on how to bypass the safety on the Nav unit so a passanger can enter information as you drive. I believe it is marked Nav welcome screen on the GX forum. I thought that some of you would want to know. Let me know if it works on the 4R.

It does! I found this thread on club lexus around a month ago and it works on my 2005 nav system. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11889 I don't think it worked on the 2003 and 2004 systems.

personally, the one mark posted worked for me just fine. I've got a 2004 solara nav installed, myself...

There are two set of instructions. One for the 2005 and one for the 2003-2004 nav unit. It worked on my 2004 GX.
