National Tire and Battery had to ship them from a wherehouse in Florida. For some reason I didn't have any success finding these online either. Just go to a local tire shop and they should be able to pull them up in their system. But make sure you specify you want the Discoverer STT. They make a Discoverer All-Terrain as well so make sure they don't order those by mistake.

One of the main reasons I went with this tire besides the obvious offroad caspabilities was on-road performance. I work in Real Estate so I do a LOT of street driving. So for work, road noise was a big factor I had to consider because I am constantly driving around clients. The road noise is basically un-noticeable. A lot of the "howling" that you hear about doesn't occur, even at highway speeds. I'm guessing it is due to the tread pattern.
Bear in mind I only have about 15k on these tires so far. They may get louder as the tread wears but I received a lot of feedback from some other folks who have had these and they told me the noise doesn't get nearly as bad as the BFG All-Terrains for example.
In terms of handling, they are wonderful. I don't feel any roll or hovering when going around corners. With some larger and wider mud tires you feel like you are floating all over the road. The STT's tread pattern is square much like the Toyo Open Country MTR's. Both tires are pretty well known for keeping a straight line unlike other more rounded tires. Since it is 3-plies (2 radial polyester body plys and an angled body ply) the sidewalls are very rigid which eliminates any hovering back and forth at highway speeds.
One thing that I really didn't pay much mind to when I purchased them were the sipes inbetween the tread lugs. The Cooper website refers to them as "tapered stone ejectors". These extra rubber stips in between the treads keep mud from getting stuck inbetween the treads. It has been extremely beneficial because when you get back onto the street from being off-road, these sipes cause all of the mud to completely wipe clean out of your treads within seconds, leaving clean tires.
Last but not least, the rubber compound is made up of a harder rubber. Unlike the Wrangler MTR's which are made up of a softer rubber, thus wearing prematurely....the STT's are a little harder. This increases the life of your tire. Like I said earlier, I have about 15k on the tires so far and they barely look like they have worn down at all.

although everyone loves them, they are a few who've had both and say the STT's are louder. I love my STT's, I sold my BFG's to get them, but they are louder..no doubt, but hey, I put on a magnaflow & a CAI. I like my truck LOUD!

Old thread, I know, but for anyone in the area reading this, you may want to think twice before taking your truck to Mike's Offroad.
They didn't do what I asked at all, installed my upper arms on the wrong sides and upside down, and were extremely overpriced. They were also not pleasant to deal with, as they didn't want to fix their mistake.
I'm glad some of you guys had a good experience with them, but I just want to encourage anyone else to perhaps use a different shop. It isn't worth getting parts ruined because of a bunch of guys who would rather argue with you than do the work correctly.
