Install Problem w/ Nerf Bar

I currently love and drive my 05 4Runner. Finally decided to upgrade the running boards to Smittybilt SS Nerf Bars, but I am having problems with the install. The instructions are a copy of a copy and I can hardly decipher. Attempted to figure it out on my own, but I have discovered stability problems with the front and rear brackets. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? If so, can you please provide input?

I installed Smittys on my 03 4R prior to weld on sliders. Installation was a breeze - no problems. Are you absolutely certain that they sent you the proper mounting brackets? Sorry, I no longer have my instructions...
Good luck.

No first hand experience but why dont you just go to Smittybilts website and email them, im sure they'll email you the instructions. Ive done that a couple times with no problems with other companies.

Thanks everyone for the reply. I called Smittybilts and the product is discontinued, which resulted in them not having the instructions for that product. Dang Them!!! Back to the drawing board.

What exactly is the problem that you are having. Sorry to hear about Smitty - that sucks. If I can help I will. I still have my old Smittys sitting in the garage.
