Installation of my new Hi End System on my 2006 4Runner!

I installed the following items:
1) Eclipse CD 8061 Head Unit
2) Focal 165 V2 Component Speakers
3) Focal 165 CVCoaxial Speakers
4) Focal 11 inch Subwoofer
5) Audio Art 140XE Amplifier
6) Audio Art 200.2 X Amplifier

Pretty good choice of equipment. I bet it sounds good.

Why did you get a Focal sub though?

It really sounds good! I bought the Focal subwoofer, because I got a good deal on it! Now, I am saving some cash, so I can get the Morel Ultimo SC Subwoofer. The Focal subwoofer, doesn't sound as good I will like too! But, it should do the job until the next couple months. Thanks

should of dynamated the doors, put atleast 125watts min to the focals and u dont need the sub at all, it makes a difference with dynamat, nice choice on the focal, but i would get the 165k2p, or that new one krx3 i think.

I personally would go with second skin, it's thicker, and doesn't come folded up like Dynomat does.

IMO you should have gotten a double din HU.

Focal and subs dont belong in the same sentence as someone else pointed out.

I agree SS is better.

The JL subs have different series that have different SQ "flavors". If you like hard hitting and have a powerful amp, you should consider the W7 10" or 12". Their more musical and reasonably priced sub is the W3...I was considering that vs the Boston Accoustic G2 that I ended up buying. I got the BA just because I got a sick deal on it but they are both good SQ subs.

Also, great choice of speakers. I have the Focals KRX2s and love them.
